I am a regular church goer. By the way, if you can attend the church service in Shanghai International Church in Sunday afternoon, by all means have a try. It is *only* open to those who hold a foreign passport. Because the freedom there is more than you can expect. I was once in the church in the morning for Sunday Morning Service and…well… Due to the constraints of GCD, it is just that boring, but nevertheless, it worth a try.

Thank Roffee, for your appreciation. Nevertheless, We are learners on our roads. We have lot to perceive and digest. And thanks to God, because he gives us wisdom, by which we could judge and understand. Frankly speaking, it is not hard to be a friend, but rather difficult be a *TRUE* friend, to whom you could pour your heart out. By giving a respond to your post, and I would like to raise a question for you as well as for those reading this.

How many TRUE friend do you have? Those are people to whom you would confess your darkest secret(s), with whom you would overcome shortages, and thus being transparent to each other.

Term Exams

Term exams are over, and I feel a kind of released from the current study. But God prompted me that the exams for this year is not over yet. I will need to work hard for the coming event to me, especially picking the Juniors and fulfilling the goals I set for myself.

I feel network is miraculous, behind the other end, you will always know that someone is watching and feeling according to your words, but you will never know who they are until you meet up. By then, you will talk less, and simply because of the reality.

Facts

The best time when ideas start being pumped into my mind is around 11 late night. The word I would like to practise saying everyday is “Praise the Lord”, “Thank God for …” “Hallelujah”. I am not old, being called a Chinese boy. Love is hard, especially when you understand the true meaning of love is to lay down your life for others. Church times are golden for me. A friend who can understands you and help you are not hard to find, but hard to keep. Day by day, the passion will downgrade, so I will do some self-motivation. (Updated 27-9-29)

After Database Exam is over…

Three more days to go for my exams this year. By then, I could finally go watching movie and prepare myself for some work. But Hey, It’s not the time yet!

After reviewing one particular module for so much time. I realized how hard it is to be a teacher who keeps on teaching on same module year after year. It is not only boring, but somehow very hard after a period of several years. Students who are becoming smarter and cleverer, having done your ten year series, they are harder to be tested. The teacher must think of some more creative ways to igniting the studying passion of the student, but most importantly, test how much his/her student really have learned.

Student as well, need to realize that study itself is not only doing projects, finishing assessments, handing in your lab report and do exams. They simply don’t prove you are capable of something, but you are capable of writing down the knowledge of it and possessing good question-answering skills

Maybe I have thought too much. Time for relaxing and continuing to reviewing next module

FNA Finished

Around an hour ago. I finished my second exam : Financial Accounting. Though being tough, it is an interesting module. It allows you to read and understand those information published by various companies. Maybe I will take sometime to explain some key concepts later.

Sigh… A night has passed and yet I did not feel the pressure of the

Financial Accounting

Today I was reading my Financial Accounting Textbook, and I started to discover how interesting it is to read through a corporation’s annual report. Having gone through Microsoft’s annual report, I am really amazed and shocked by the performance it has and once had. http://www.microsoft.com/msft/ar04/nonflash/default.html Take a look at their P/L and Income statements over the years, you might be amazed and as well as amused.

Is accounting your major? I don’t think it interesting because i’m now suffering from my CGA FA3. Lot’s of things to consider when it comes to practice. >_<

me:
I am not accounting major. But I am interested in reading the annual reports of various companies. Maybe I will take some advanced financial course next sem/year like managerial accounting and finance. The module I have taken merely enables me to read those reports instead of proceducing them.

Plane Crashed

News @ 8 am (GMT+8) A plane crashed (belonging to China Eastern, Yunnan subsidiary) in China, from Bao Tou (Nei Menggu) to Shanghai. None of the people on the plane survived this accident. It is freezing cold now in China. Report says the the plane exploed before crashing into the frozen lake, according to the buried corpse salvaged out of water.

In China, restricted by GCD, churhes must declare GCD>GOD so that they can survive properly. In shanghai, people attending proper church service have to possess a foreign passport.
